HOW SCHOOLS CAN HELP

Wonderful experiences of schools in the UK and Zambia have resulted in rewarding exchanges taking place. The Trust helps to foster links made by some English schools with Zambian counterparts who can visit England, whilst parties of English students go to Zambia.

The Cary-Mufulira Trust has involved a whole community in Somerset linked with a school in Mufulira in northern Zambia.

Pupils from Sexey's School also in Somerset have visited their counterparts in Zambia.

The former honorary Secretary of the Trust, Peter Foulkes, was signally responsible for the success of many parts of these exchanges.
